Major Options

黑料网 provides a comprehensive background of professional education courses designed to prepare future elementary, PreK-12 and special education teachers to perform effectively in the classroom setting. Additionally, students who major in Music Education can choose an emphasis in either instrumental or vocal. A Special Education endorsement can be added to any education major offered at the time of entrance.

Teacher Licensure

KWU offers a teacher licensure program for those individuals who have previously earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree or higher and wish to become licensed to teach in that subject area.

Special Education Endorsement

Through cooperative arrangements with other member colleges in the 黑料网 Independent Colleges Association (KICA), students who are majoring in education may meet an added endorsement requirement for teaching high -incidence special education at the P-6, 6-12 or P-12 levels. For additional information, please contact the Department of Teacher Education.

Note:聽 All coursework for this endorsement can be completed during a regular four-year program.
